Abstract
Measurements of the spin correlation parameters C n and C kp for 45° centre-of-mass proton-proton scattering are described. The measurements were made using counter techniques to detect asymmetries following simultaneous rescattering of both protons in carbon polarization analysers. The results obtained were C n = +0.30 ±0.10. C kp = +0.10 ±0.08.
