Abstract

Clusters of the type Os 4 (CO) 15 (L) have been prepared by the reaction of L with Os 4 (CO) 14 at or below room temperature. The structures of Os 4 (CO) 16 (1), Os 4 (CO) 15 (PF 3 ) (2), and Os 4 (CO) 15 [P(OCH 2 ) 3 CMe] (3) (the last compound as the CH 2 Cl 2 solvate) have been determined by X-ray crystallography: Compound 1 crystallizes in the space groupe P1
