Abstract

Background: Anal carcinoma is a rare tumor, accounting for around 2–4% of all GI carcinomas. An increase in frequency has been described recently. The maximum age was 70 years. Simultaneous chemoradiotherapy(CRT) was able to establish itself as the standard therapy due to the potential for preservation of continence.
