Abstract

AbstractPowders with uniform particle size and shape are increasingly in demand for industrial applications. The preparation of these powders by the hydrolysis of liquid aerosols using two difJerent techniquesnebulization and evaporation-condensation-is reviewed as applied to simple oxides, mixed oxides, and oxides doped with organics. Examples are given to illustrate the characteristics of these powders. This study was supported Uy the Spanish lnterministerial Commission for Science and Technology (CICYT).
