Henry, R. B. C. ; Shipman, H. L. ; Wesemael, F. Abstract Using pure hydrogen atmospheres of log g = 8, the authors have calculated equivalent widths as a function of temperature and abundance for C II λ1335, C III λ977 and λ1176, C IV λ1549, N II λ1085, N V λ1240, Mg II λ2800, Si II λ1263, and Si IV λ1395. The calculations were carried out over a temperature range of 15,000 ≤ Teff ≤ 100,000K and an abundance range of -3 ≥ log[N(Z)/N(H)] ≥ -7, where Z refers to the relevant element.
