Abstract
A prominent, narrow two-photon state at 1062 keV has been observed recently in 5.95 MeV/ A U + Th collisions at LBL. Together with the four e +e − narrow states previously found in similar collisions at GSI, we note that these five states fit a simple 1 n energy spectrum. Predictions of four more intermediate if(in n) states are made. A scenario is presented in which this spectrum of states with a mass scale on the order of an MeV corresponds to glowball states in the SO(3)-glow model of spontaneously broken QCD.
