Abstract

In this work; Lead sulfide (PbS) plasma plume was prepared by laser induced plasma (LIP). With Nd: YAG laser was irradiation of the target worked at a wavelength of (1064) nm. have been studied using the spectrometer that collect the spectrum of Laser produce PbS plasma at different values of energy (200,300,400,500,600)mJ. The electron temperature (Te), electron density ne, Debye length (λD) and plasma frequency (fp) were determined using optical emission spectroscopy technique. Spectral study of this mixing in the air. The electron density was measured using the Stark broadening of Pb lines and the electron temperature by Boltzmann plot method it is one of the methods that are used. The results showed, at a wavelength of (1064) nm, the valuable of electron temperature in the range (1.465-1.599) eV and the electron density (1.11-1.47)×1018 cm-3.
