Abstract
AbstractThe absorption and emission spectra of KF single crystals containing Tl+ ions at low concentrations are studied in the UV and vacuum UV spectral range between 12 and 300 K. Four absorption bands (A, B, C, and D), which are characteristic for the TL+ impurity centre were observed, but only two emission bands could be detected. These results are compared to the results on the hitherto investigated TL+ centres.
