Abstract

Photo‐induced currents and voltages determining the photorefractive effect in transition metal doped crystals have been measured in the spectral region between 1.5 and 4.0 eV. The current density , the constant κ describing the anisotropic charge transfer, the conductivity σ during illumination, and the saturation field have been investigated. The results yield information on the photorefractive centers and on the optical storage properties of mono‐ and double‐doped .
