Abstract
Abstract Potassium bromate was applied to the determination of adrenaline, noradrenalhe, isopropylnoradrenaline and methyl-dopa. Direct potentiometric and visual indicator titration methods as well as back-titration procedures have been developed for their determination. Oxidation of these catechol-amines produce aminochmme derivatives at pH 11.0 which could be measured spectrophotometrically at 465 nm. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration range from 0.04 to 1.4 mg adrenaline, 0.04 to 1.27 ag noradrenaline, 0.06 to 1.4 mg isopropylnoradrenaline and from 0.04 to 0.65 methyldopa.
