Abstract
The interaction of cyanine dye (OC) in its ground and excited states with colloidal silver particles was studied using a spectrometric method. The fluorescence emission of cyanine dye OC was effectively quenched by silver sol, indicating that photoinduced electron transfer took place at the interface of cyanine dye/Ag sol.
