Abstract
A new quantitative method for ABA determination is described. The method is based upon a fluorescence effect of ABA on silica gel thin-layers when sprayed with 10% sulfuric acid and heated at 130°C for 8 min. With this method, 0.5 μg ABA can be determined and the reproducibility is in the range ±10%.
