Abstract

Abstract A series of new six coordinate complexes of cobalt(II) and nickel(II) of N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylthiuramdisulphide (Me4tds) having the general compositions M(Me4tds)2X2 (M = Co, Ni; X = Cl, Br, NO3, NCS; M = Ni; X = CH3COO) and M(Me4tds)3X2 (M = Co, Ni; X = I, Clo4) were synthesises and characterised by elemental analyses, electrolytic conductivity, molecular weight, i.r., electronic spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements.
