Abstract
Spectrochemical analyses of sulsur and aluminum in steel are made by using Grimmglow discharge tube and the detection limits of the elements are investigated.In the investigation, a D.C.intensity measuring system and a photon counting system are used as the detection system.From VUV and UV spectroscopies it is recognized that the 0.006% aluminum in steel can _be analysed with sufficient accuracy by the measurement of about 0.2 sec time constant.
