Abstract

Vibration frequencies of some double salts of sodium and divalent metal sulphates have been assigned. Some data on the hydrogen bonds do not agree with results from NMR. There appears to be a connection between the vibrations of the water molecules and the degree of covalent character of the coordination bond.
