Abstract
This paper presents a spectral-domain formulation of electromagnetic scattering of a plane-wave obliquely incident on a finite periodic array of circular cylinders. The structure under consideration consists of a finite number of cylinders, and the conventional recursive transition-matrix algorithm (RTMA) is applicable. The present formulation is also based on the RTMA but the concept of the pseudo-periodic Fourier transform is introduced to consider the problem in the wavenumber space.
