Abstract
Pure samples of pyridinium hexafluorophosphate (C5H5N+HPF−6) were prepared by the reaction of pyridinium poly(hydrogen fluoride) and phosphorus(V) halides. The i.r. spectral data in the range 400–4000 cm−1 and 1H, 19F and 13C NMR spectra for this compound are reported.
