Abstract

IR and Raman spectra of neutral iodine substituted electron donors DIET, DIEDO and DIETS were measured. Their fundamental vibrational modes were calculated and compared with the experimental data. Additionally, we studied IR and Raman spectra of 2:1 charge-transfer salts formed by these donors with paramagnetic [Fe(bpca)(CN)3] anions. Polarized IR reflectance spectra of DIET and DIEDO salts were also recorded.
