Abstract

A set-up for studying spatial variations of spectral response of solar cells is described. Spectral measurements have been used to calculate solar cell parameters like diffusion length of minority carriers, junction depth and barrier height of the junction. Results on polycrystalline silicon, thin film CdS/Cu 2S and SnO 2/SiO x / n-Si solar cells are reported and discussed.
