Abstract

Experimental results of the study of the radiation spectra of an oscillator based on the mesastructure of a high-temperature superconducting Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ crystal are presented. The oscillator operating modes are studied, the terahertz radiation in the range 450–750 GHz is obtained, and the Lorentzian shape of the spectral line is measured. It is shown that the minimum oscillation linewidth amounts to 65 MHz. The possibility of phase stabilization of the oscillator radiation is demonstrated.
