Abstract

Basic problems in the primary processes of photosynthesis, interactions between pigments, proteins and quinones, as well as processes of energy transfer and electron transport in the primary events were studied using low temperature optical spectroscopy (hole burning technique). The obtained results (homogeneous widths of optical transitions and hole burning kinetics) were correlated on both model and in vivo photosynthetic systems.
