Abstract
The meson dominance calculation of current spectral functions is carried out in a relativistic potential model with confining potential and their dependence on energy and the quark mass is explicitly obtained in the WKB approximation. The resulting spectral function is independent of the potential parameters, and coincides with the quark-parton model from threshold to q 2 = ∞ under a certain condition.
