Abstract

Various possibilities for spectral conversion of IR images are demonstrated. In addition to conventional methods based on the employment of nonlinear luminophors, active methods with quantum light amplifiers used as nonlinear converters are considered. In the quantum amplifiers under consideration, lasing and amplification processes involve at least two coupled transitions.
