Abstract
Novel fluorophosphate glasses with small content of phosphate doped by various concentration of ErF3 and 5 mol. % of YbF3 were obtained. Absorption spectrum and experimental τexp lifetimes for all concentration of ErF3 were measured. Radiation lifetime of the excited state τexp and emission cross-section σemi were calculated. It was shown that the highest quantum yield q (100%), τexp (9 ms) and σemi (0.64×10-20 cm-2) corresponds to 0.5 mol. % ErF3.
