Abstract
For exhibition industry, the application of RGB laser-illuminated projectors has already been demonstrated. However there are still some urgent scientific and technological issues to be solved. In this paper, the speckle issue of green and yellow-green all-solid-state Nd:YVO4 (YAG) / PPMgLN lasers is analyzed. We choose a well-designed multi-emitter array LD as pump sources to reduce the speckle contrast. Because the emitters of the array LD are independent of others, the speckle contrasts of the green and yellow-green lasers have been reduced to 1/24 and 1/6, respectively.
