Abstract
The progress of human rights in China is a dynamic developmental process. In order to further increase the standards of Chinese human rights protection, practical measures should be taken: strengthening the legislation of human rights and improving the human rights protection system; carrying out the spirit of human rights completely and increasing state officials’ governing ability according to law; establishing state human rights institutions and dealing with affairs relevant to human rights; showing more concern with human rights research and strengthening human rights education; making both mid-term and long-term human rights action plans, and realizing the human rights principles of the Constitution. The practical implementation of these measures will be significant for protection, promotion, and realization of human rights.
