Abstract

The thermodynamic properties of proton transport along hydrogen-bondedsystems at finite temperatures have been studied by our model. We firstderive the dynamic equations of the proton transport and find thesolutions and the free energy of the systems. Finally, weobtain the specific heats of the hydrogen bonded systems, resultingfrom the motion of the soliton, by using transfer integral way. Thetheoretical value is basically consistent with the experimental data.
