Abstract

Competitive binding studies of various prostaglandins with homogenates of rabbit renal cortex, outer medulla and papilla demonstrate higher specificity for prostaglandin A. There is high affinity for PGA binding to the extracts which is saturable and time and temperature dependent. The results suggest the presence of specific binding sites in the rabbit kidney for PGA.
