Abstract

The result indicates that #alpha#-diversity of woody-plants increases with artificial mixed forest succession while that of grassy-plants decreases. On different time-scales, #beta#-diversity is obviously different. This indicates that artificial mixed forest of wind-damaged slash has high species turnover rates, and evergreen broad-leaved species have replaced some coniferous species. It is concluded that artificial mixed forest of wind-damaged slash tends to become evergreen broad-leaved forest.
