Abstract

Summary The metabolism of feprazone, an antiinflammatory drug, in rat, dog and man has been investigated using TLC, HPLC, GC-MS techniques in conjunction with stable isotope labelling. Eight metabolites were identified and some of them were detected commonly in rat and dog. Feprazone-(C)-β glucuronide found in man as a main urinary metabolite was not present in rat and dog.
