Abstract
The structure of horse and whale insulins have been determined and compared with other insulins previously investigated. The only differences found were in the three residues occupying positions 8–10 in the glycyl (A) chain. The sequence in horse insulin is Thr. Gly.Ileu and in whale insulin is Thr.Ser.Ileu.
