Occupational Therapists in Iceland in 1979 are, in the main, generalists due to several factors: 1. The training of Occupational Therapists;2. stage of development of the profession and severe shortage of Occupational Therapists;3. size and spread-out-ness of the nation;4. lack of allied health professionals in general.
