Abstract
During last decades, enterprise modelling was developed as a full research topic to become one major key point within enterprise engineering. In this way many tools came up. After this first period, time was came for new requirements, especially in term of convergence (IFAC-IFIP task force on enterprise integration works, ENV 40003 standard, UEML initiative) and in term of adaptation with new manufacturing paradigms. The purpose of this session is to give some responses to the second point, especially about simulation and evaluation of industrial systems (three papers: New simulation requirements for model-based enterprise engineering, Unified Property Specification Language for industrial systems analysis: LUSP and Implementation of an approach of performance estimation for enterprise process analysis) and about the choice, implementation and maintenance of large information systems such as ERP or SCM (one paper: Enterprise modelling and new information technologies).
