Abstract

The nine papers in this special issue focus on Grid resource management. The issue aims to present the latest research approaches and results in designing, analyzing, and developing Grid resource management systems using economic models, agent technologies, as well as an array of approaches (e.g., adaptive workload balancing and meta-brokering) that enhance and augment current Grid scheduling systems.
