Special Issue: Fullerenes

Abstract

Call for papers A Thematic Issue of the Journal of Physics B: Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics on the topic of Fullerenes is scheduled for publication in October 1996. Original manuscripts detailing research on this topic are now invited. Coverage The objective is to publish research on fullerenes and their derivatives of potential interest to scientists working in the fields of pure or applied atomic, molecular and optical physics. Original manuscripts are solicited in the following areas: Optical and related spectroscopies of fullerenes, their ions and their derivatives; Theoretical studies on fullerene structure, energy levels and spectra; Nonlinear optics of fullerenes; Fullerene collision and ion physics; Miscellaneous (e.g. applications to astrophysics, biophysics, use of solar energy). All articles will be refereed to the usual high standards of the journal, and authors will receive free offprints of their published paper. There are no page charges. Submission Three copies of the manuscript are required. These should be sent, with a covering letter mentioning submission for the Thematic Issue on Fullerenes, to the Managing Editor of the Journal at the address given below. Deadline for submission to the Thematic Issue is the 1st of March 1996.
