Abstract
The article presents student cooperatives in Poland in the years 1918-1939 and their educational values. After introducing the issues, the text shows the genesis of school cooperatives. It contains an explanation of the concept of school cooperatives and its understanding in the interwar years as a method of education, student organization and economic enterprise. The educational values of student cooperatives were exposed in every aspect of their activities.
