Abstract

Based on the temporal domain and spatial domain hybrid analysis, a non-iterative phase-shifting amount extraction method is proposed. Firstly, by searching for the maximum intensity and the minimum intensity of each pixel of a sequence of phase-shifting interferograms, the approximate phase distribution of each interferogram can be obtained easily. Secondly, by using the spatiotemporal hybrid average phase-shifting amount as the practical phase-shifting amount to perform the phase-shifting amount extraction, the phase-shifting amount deviation and the phase error during the phase-shifting procedure can be eliminated effectively. The obtained results show that the accuracy of the phase-shifting amount extraction with the proposed method is well coincident with that of the conventional iterative algorithm. Importantly, in the proposed method, as the calculation is not required, the processing speed of phase-shifting amount extraction is improved significantly.
