Abstract

The article proposed a method to extract the turning procedure trajectory of taking off and landing when flights travel in the high plateau area with QAR data, the results were used to analyze the exceptions happened during the procedure with spatial autocorrelation and the kernel density analysis method. It shows that: 1 the method can extract the turning trajectory completely and compare with the part of taking off, landing part shows obvious clustering trend; 2 the hysteresis between the design of the flight program and the real flight airway changing has greatly damaged the safety of flight and the quality of aviation management in the high plateau. While the lag period of the update, there are almost 90% flights without proper guidance though no real security incident occurred; 3 the fuselage attitude is equal to maintain the balance of the passengers and crews on the flight while turning, but in most turning processes, the attitude exceeded the prescribed quantity which was designed by the airport and problems mainly appear at the external part of the cluster distribution and the original flight route design has a bad effect which make the airplane have to keep higher angle for turning. The paper aims to provide support to the development of the high plateau airport management and flight safety control, it’s a good try to combine the spatial analysis with the QAR big data. The results show that we should pay attention to the dangers hidden in daily regular flight routines.
