Abstract

Alan Turing famously approached intelligence of a machine by its communication behavior. A machine's spatial communication behavior would then define its spatial intelligence, in Turing's sense of successfully imitating human spatial communication behavior. This paper asks whether the time has come for the spatial cognition and computation community to hold a grand challenge on spatial intelligence.
