Abstract

The spatial filtering function is found for amplitude fluctuations of a collimated laser beam traveling across the turbulent atmosphere. The dependence of this function on the transmitting aperture size is investigated. It is shown that the profile of the structure constant Cn2(z) can be reconstructed by varying the transmitting aperture size.
