Abstract

Due to the differences in regional resources level, economic development level and government support strength, there are clear regional differences in the development of China's agricultural producer service industry. Based on the data of agricultural producer services from 31 provinces in China from 2003 to 2016, the spatial differences in the development level of China's agricultural producer services were measured in this paper using the Theil index. The results showed that there are significant spatial differences in China's agricultural producer services, and regional differences are the main reason for the overall differences. To reveal the influencing factors of the spatial differences in the level of development of China's agricultural producer services, theoretical analysis was conducted in this paper from four aspects: location factors, economic factor, policy factor and technical factors. Using the panel data from 2003 to 2016, empirical research was carried out. It was found that regional economic development level and government support strength are the main factors affecting the differences in the development level of agricultural producer services in China.
