Abstract

Two sorts of spatial decay estimates are established for describing the spatial behaviour of the solutions for the flow of a heat-conducting micropolar fluid in a semi-infinite cylindrical pipe. The lateral surface is thermal insulated and the adherence of the fluid to the lateral boundary is assumed. At the finite end of the pipe a time-dependent velocity and angular velocity profile are prescribed together the temperature field.
