Abstract

In this paper we discuss the main features of a method we have developed recently for calculating spatially varying zero-frequency-response-functions and equal-time-correlation-functions around magnetic and mixed valent impurities in metals. The method uses a combination of perturbative thermodynamic scaling theory and nonperturbative methods such as the Wilson renormalisation group technique2,3.
