Abstract

The paper aims to analyze the spatial attention characteristics of table tennis players based on ERP. By using the event-related potential (ERP) method with high temporal synchronicity, the visual spatial attention characteristics of general college students and secondary table tennis players were compared to explore the characteristics of visual space attention of table tennis players. All table tennis players responded significantly faster than the average college student. Table tennis players processed visual information faster than the average college student's brain when the two groups responded faster than the ineffective and neutral prompts. The table tennis player's processing of visual stimuli is faster than that of ordinary college students. In the early stage, the brain's processing of visual stimuli is different from ordinary college students.
