AbstractThe regional injection molding machine patent resources are analyzed based on the time series and the space and industry direction to reflect the development trend of the regional injection molding machine industry and provide a corresponding reference for the study of the regional injection molding machine industry development. This paper uses the patent data of injection molding machines in Ningbo, through data processing and analysis, and uses the data of four time periods to study the distribution of its space and industrial development direction through standard deviation ellipse method, kernel density analysis method and patent text cluster analysis., analyze the direction distribution characteristics, density structure characteristics and industrial development trend of injection molding machine patents in Ningbo area. The results show that the development of Ningbo's injection molding machine industry has shifted from the core urban area to the development along the entire Ningbo area. The highest value of patent density is always in the core urban area and slowly shifted to the east, and the number of patents has increased exponentially at each stage. Spatially northwest of Beilun District and injection molds, hydraulic motors, manipulators and injection molding machines of the industrial direction are the development trends of the injection molding machine industry in Ningbo.
