Spanning eularian subgraphs, the splitting Lemma, and Petersen's theorem

Abstract

In this paper we show that a bridgeless graph without 2-valent vertices has a spanning eularian subgraph without isolated vertices. This result is obtained by applying the Splitting Lemma and Petersen's Theorem. On the other hand, it can be viewed as a generalization of this famous theorem.
