Abstract

Based on Bernard Williams’ work Truth and Truthfulness, which might be seen as a sort of philosophical ‘will’ of the British philosopher, the paper aims to highlight the demarcation between truth and truthfulness and the political consequences of such a demarcation. fte paper accentuates the political and ethical concerns of Williams from the perspective of his critique of both English Utilitarianism and Kantian Formalism.
