Abstract

Prioritizing efforts to remove language barriers in a behavioral health emergency, a national health care services organization announced this month its operation of the largest Spanish‐language 988 call center for text and chat response. The move is helping to reduce the stigma that pushes the Hispanic community away from seeking care, officials stated.
