SPAMAST Virtual Campus Tour Simulator (SVCTS)

Abstract

The project entitled SPAMAST Virtual Campus Simulator. The data gathered throughout the testing session was based from the Functionality, Reliability, Accuracy and Usability of the simulator. According to the evaluation submitted by the Faculties and Staffs, Students, and Guest of the SPAMAST Digos Campus on April 2019 with a total of fifty (50) Respondents, it was rated that functionality of the simulator is neutral. The method used by the developer was data and process modeling as process models for the simulator. It also uses Google SketchUp 2018 as a bone structure of the 3D models and Unity 2018.1.0f2 (64-bit) as a bone structure of the whole simulator. Google SketchUp 2018 was used for creating the 3D model of the building infrastructure of the school campus and Unity 2018.1.0f2 (64-bit) used for the creation of the features of the simulator. However, results of the study revealed that the functionality of the SPAMAST Virtual Campus Tour Simulator was functional in its features and the appearance was acceptable. The Functionality, Reliability, Accuracy and Usability of the simulator have a mean rating of 3.26 (given by the evaluators). This rating has qualitative description as neutral which means the simulator was functional in its features and the appearance was acceptable. The highly recommendation of the project are to finish the voice over direction feature, enhance graphic design, create a third person view 3D avatar, merge of all 3D building infrastructure in one project, create an android format of the project and create new 3D building infrastructure.
