Abstract

AGE 49 Goddard Space Flight Center's spacecraft tracking and data acquisition operations will be transferred from the Beltsville Tracking Station to the Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Va., by early 1986, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration announced. The transfer, NASA said, will consolidate these space operations with existing tracking and data acquisition facilities at Wallops to support balloon, sounding rocket, and aeronautical flight research.
